Happenings
Elise is walking, running and laughing more than ever! She loves getting her hair combed and I love her pigtails and cowboy boots. After spending a couple days in the snow, we headed to the Coast for Spring Break (thank you, Paul’s!). It was Elise’s first time to the beach and she loved it! We are loving the spurts of sun and mom’s new-found energy that apparently comes with it. Happy Spring!

Walking!
This was the first attempt at filming and about the 5th time she walked. The camera is way cooler than Dad.
She’s basically already running!

Happy Birthday!
Neither Brandon nor I had been to a concert before. So, for Brandon’s birthday we went to the best concert ever! Go big or go home, right? I’m sure you’re all jealous.
Merle Haggard is one of the greatest music stars to have ever existed. Seeing as how I was pretty sure he was dead, I thought the radio advertisement was a joke. But if it wasn’t, I knew we had to be there.
I’m pretty sure it was the best birthday present ever. He will never top it.
It was a really good concert full of some of our favorite songs!
Thank you, Dave and Laurel for making it possible. Thank you, Amanda, for being chill enough to let us skip your rehearsal dinner :)

Halloween
To start the festivities off, a friend and I hosted a Halloween party the Friday before! It was a night full of costumes and games. Very fun and quite successful, I might add. However, we didn’t take any pictures. A big thanks to the Cochran’s for the use of their facilities!
Our church then hosted a Trunk or Treat on Halloween!
Mad scientist, pirate (with an authentic Pirates of the Caribbean gun and all!) and cow
We took about 45 seconds to set-up, but apparently it was a bit intense: several of the youngin’s were too scared to approach our “trunk”.

Is there anything more inspiring than death?
